Care Guide
How to keep each cloth at its best.
Velvet
Gentle steam to release wrinkles — never iron the surface directly. Hang on padded hangers between wears. Spot-clean with a soft brush. Professional dry clean once or twice a season.
Linen
Cool wash inside-out on a delicate cycle. Line dry. Embrace the natural texture and the way linen wrinkles — that’s the point. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp if you prefer crispness.
Wool
Dry clean tailored pieces (blazers, suits). Hand wash knits in cool water with wool detergent. Dry flat — never hang wet.
Tweed
Brush gently after wear with a soft clothes brush. Steam to refresh. Dry clean as needed, typically once per season.
Cashmere
Hand wash in cool water with a wool-specific soap. Roll in a towel to remove water. Dry flat. Store folded with cedar.
